Hairdressing Scissors and Thinners: £16 per pair.

We will phone you if your scissors require any new part(s).  Parts are replaced free of charge.

If your scissors are worth more than £50 - We would strongly recommend Royal Mail Special Delivery. 

​

We believe that Royal Mail Special Delivery is the best postal service for hairdressing scissors.

 

In 20 years of trading, we have never had a Special Delivery lost or damaged in transit

 

Your scissors will be insured by Royal Mail up to £500, they will be tracked and delivered next day, before 1.00 pm

 

If you require higher increments of insurance, such as £1000 or more (up to £2,500) cover - please let us know.

You can opt to have your scissors returned via 1st class signed for - This service is not guaranteed for next day delivery - Royal Mail only insures up to £50 for loss or damage and the parcel is partially trackable.

​

Royal Mail Special Delivery is:

£7.20 

 

1st Class Signed For is:

£4.75 

 

Our postage cost is for any amount of scissors.

Eg: Scissors received (payment made) on a Tuesday are sharpened on Wednesday  (one full working day) and then dispatched on Thursday.  You would have your scissors back on Friday.

 

We do provide a more urgent scissor sharpening service - and this does cost extra :-

 

This would be a same day turnaround and this does cost extra - If the same day service is required, we charge £4.00 per pair of scissors and this should be added onto the total bill. ​

Same day turnaround, is where we sharpen scissors the day they are received and dispatch them the same day.

Sending Your Scissors

​

Put a note inside the package stating your: name, address, telephone & mobile number, the number of items you are sending, your e-mail and the brand of scissors.

If your scissors are worth over £50 - we strongly recommend that you send your scissors via Royal Mail Special Delivery. 

 

You pay the Post Office to send your scissors to us.

​

You must make sure you secure the tips, ensuring that that there is no way the tips will be able to pierce the packaging.  Wrap each individual item thickly in bubble wrap or very thick layers of kitchen roll and send in a padded envelope.
